Craig R. Webb, MD, FAAP
Craig brings more than three decades of medical practice and a lifetime of military, clinical, and administrative leadership to Operation New Leash. As Treasurer, he helps safeguard the organization’s resources and strengthen its commitment to accountable service.

Craig is a board-certified pediatrician at Wesley Children’s Hospital in Wichita and an Assistant Clinical Professor with the University of Kansas School of Medicine–Wichita. His work centers on evidence-based, patient-focused newborn and inpatient pediatric hospitalist care, along with teaching and mentoring residents and medical students.
He earned his Bachelor of Science and medical doctorate from the University of Arizona and completed his pediatric residency at Madigan Army Medical Center at Fort Lewis, Washington. During more than 24 years in the U.S. Army, Craig served in clinical and senior administrative leadership roles, completed two deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and retired as a Colonel.
After transitioning to civilian life, Craig served as Area Medical Director for MedExpress Urgent Care before accepting his current university appointment. He also serves as Medical Director for Convenient CPR in Wichita, where he teaches basic and advanced life-support courses. Away from work, Craig enjoys traveling and sharing new adventures with his wife, family, and two wonderful pups.

Military awards: Legion of Merit; Bronze Star with one bronze oak leaf cluster; Meritorious Service Medal with one silver oak leaf cluster; Army Commendation Medal with two bronze oak leaf clusters; Joint Service Achievement Medal; and Army Achievement Medal with one silver oak leaf cluster and one bronze oak leaf cluster.
Teaching awards: KU Pediatrics Wichita Faculty Teaching Award for 2024 and KU School of Medicine Student Voice Award for Outstanding Attending for 2024.

Amber Beck
Amber brings more than 16 years of nonprofit marketing, development, and leadership experience to Operation New Leash. As Secretary, she helps support clear governance, strong partnerships, and the organized decision-making required to move the mission forward.

Amber is the Executive Director of Cairn Health, where she leads efforts to expand healthcare access for uninsured and underserved Kansans. Her work focuses on building partnerships, securing resources, and creating practical solutions that remove barriers to care.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wichita State University, with an emphasis in Marketing and a minor in Management. Amber is also a Certified Community Health Worker and a licensed pharmacy technician.
Her experience connecting people, organizations, and resources gives Operation New Leash a thoughtful nonprofit leader who understands how careful administration and community relationships can turn a strong mission into lasting impact.

Scott brings military K9 experience, lived recovery, and years of professional dog training to the national operating model. His vision gives the board a practical mission to protect and a measurable standard to uphold.
